  • From the perspective of the WV AHRQ Project Team the implementation project was a success.
  • From the perspective of the majority of participating hospitals the ORM IT product helped them to improve patient safety by providing timely, detailed data.

Investment in HIT in our small, rural state has made it possible to substantially improve and measure quality and safety
Project has achieved objective of giving our small rural hospitals the tools they need to discover, track, analyze and develop solutions for issues involving patient safety and preventable medical errors
