Comments

Percents are age-adjusted to the 2000 standard population. Age-adjusted percents are weighted sums of age-specific percents. For a discussion of age adjustment, see Part A, Section 5 of Tracking Healthy People 2010.

Race categories in the national table have changed since 2001. Data for 2001 and later years may not be comparable to data from previous years.

Hospital admissions for immunization-preventable influenza per 100,000 population age 65 and over. Percent of high-risk persons (e.g., COPD) age 18-64 who received an influenza vaccination in the past 12 months.
