This image shows hospital discharge rates for women with major cardiovascular disease.  It compares those with diabetes and no diabetes at a rate per 1,000.  Between Ages 18-44, 22.9 with diabetes, and 1.9 with no diabetes.  Between Ages 45-64, 93.1 with diabetes, and 14.9 with no diabetes.  Between Ages 65-74, 158.9 with diabetes, and 56.9 with no diabetes.  Ages 75 and up, 332.7 with diabetes, and 136.2 with no diabetes.
