The figure is a scatter graph that plots the number of preventable hospitalizations per 1,000 younger adults against the percentage of the births with late or no prenatal care. The plotted geographic areas are clustered within 3 and 8 preventable hospitalizations per 1,000 younger adults and within 0 and 4 percent of births with little or no prenatal care.
