AHRQ National Advisory Council To Meet November 15
The National Advisory Council (NAC) for the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) will meet on November 15 at AHRQ’s offices in Rockville, MD. The council provides advice to the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) secretary and the director of the Agency. The council consists of 21 members from the private sector and seven ex-officio members from other federal health agencies.
The meeting will feature an update on Agency priorities from new AHRQ Director Richard Kronick, Ph.D., a discussion of implementation of the Affordable Care Act with Michael Hash from the HHS Office of Health Reform, and an update on research activities at the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute from PCORI Executive Director Joe Selby, M.D.
